Bruce Stark has been a successful real estate agent in Ithaca for almost a decade. With the recent real estate boom, he has watched the listing brokers' commissions increase out of all proportion to services rendered. He saw that in parts of the country where home prices are astronomical, such as California, the real estate market has gone toward a new model. The buyer's agent, who does most of the work, gets their regular commission, while the selling broker gets a flat fee for putting the house on the market. Given Ithaca's own inflated housing market, Bruce Stark wanted to introduce this model to Ithaca. In search of a web site that looked sort of like his Realtor.com listings only sharper, he contacted Gorges Web Sites.
Bruce's web site was designed to be in harmony with his listings on Realtor.com.
Gorges Web Sites researched his business model and real estate web design to find the best and the worst. We then wrote the text content and a design draft, and met several times with Bruce until his web site looked and felt exactly the way he wanted.
