Gorges Web Sites has moved

After just 6 months in our first office, we've outgrown our space and relocated across the street (above the Ithaca Ale House) on restaurant row, just off the Ithaca Commons, where Friedlander and Associates used to be. Our new space is 1600 sq ft. and will provide enough room for the work we have underway, as well as client meetings.

Gorges Growth

Gorges Web Sites welcomes Paul Houle to the engineering team. Paul brings over 10 years of experience developing sophisticated and reliable software systems on many Internet platforms. In his short time with us, Paul has already made major contributions to several key projects. Paul's timely addition to our team brings the Gorges staff of seasoned Internet professionals to six full time.

Gorges Web Sites

The web sites we have developed have become much more 'gorgeous' and functional in recent months. Two weeks ago we celebrated our first 'triple launch week' as we completed work on the new Student Agencies web site, a site for Lightlink's Super Computing Facility, and a niche e-commerce web site called Breeches USA. Wow! Not to be outdone, we have several major web sites and software applications about to launch this month. Check out our full list of web site and software launches.

Student Agencies, Inc [www.StudentAgencies.com]

You've seen the Ithaca Gorge. Now go get your laundry done, flyers distributed, find a job, and rent an apartment at this feature-packed dynamic website. Our project with Student Agencies involved an elegant design, custom implementation of our content management system (called 'GoGorges'), and retail sales capability.

Ithaca High School Alumni Association [www.ithacahighalumni.com]

Bringing together Ithacans of the world.
The Ithaca High School Alumni association approached Gorges Web Sites to develop a social networking web site for Ithaca High Alumni. Gorges integrated Google Maps so members can add themselves to Google maps and search for other members. Each member has a profile and can create their own online photo gallery. If you are an alumni, but aren't yet a member, you can even join and pay the nominal dues online!

Lightlink Super Computer Facility [super.lightlink.com]

Lightlink needed a sharp website fast enough to accompany their new advertising campaign.
The Gorges team was were summoned to the task and performed admirably, crafting a sharp design, and utilizing our 'survey building' software to give Lightlink administrators the ability to add, remove and sort their all-important survey with just a few mouse-clicks.

Breeches USA [www.BreechesUSA.com]

A top of the line e-commerce solution for horsewear. Gorges leveraged an open source solution to create a beautiful design with full e-commerce capabilities at an economical price.
This project was a 're-design' and additional features included importing all customer data, migrating business processes to the new system, training the site owner, and extensive custom programming for the products.
