Health insurance company web site overhaul and customer application • 2008

Jeff True of International Education and Exchange Services, a provider of health insurance for groups approached Gorges Web Sites for a web site overhaul and creation of new functionality. Gorges was asked redesign the IEES web site to reflect a modern and high-end business presence, and add a few new features for their members, as well as a content management system for site administrators.

Gorges design team got right on the job, crafting a design and user interface that accurately presents their key business information to their various types of users. Next, we implemented a content management system and showed them how to operate their site. Once we had published this new 'public' site, we switched our attention to the application needs. Gorges software engineers created a custom database, and developed an XML import tool for moving in customers. Gorges then utilized technology to create custom PDFs, and integrated tools so that IEES insured members can obtain customized ID cards and letters of coverage, in PDF format, on demand.
